The brief

Randstad is the global leader in HR services, operating in 38 countries with over 650,000 people placed every day. In France, Randstad operates through a network of 900 agencies and supports businesses with recruitment, temporary staffing, transition management and training.

The brief: a corporate motion design film that modernises Randstad’s image with candidates and businesses alike. The film had to show that Randstad is no longer just a temp agency — it is a strategic talent management partner.

The Nexia approach

Our art director set a human and dynamic direction. The motion design uses colourful silhouettes and animated pictograms to represent the diversity of professions and career paths. Each character is unique, each trajectory different — but all converge towards Randstad.

The film is driven by animated key figures: 650,000 people placed per day, 38 countries, 60 years of experience. These data points punctuate the narrative and give substance to the brand message.

The Randstad palette — electric blue, white, vivid accents — is deployed with modernity. Transitions are fluid and energetic, reflecting the idea of movement and connection at the heart of Randstad’s business.

A corporate film that repositions Randstad as an HR tech player, not just a temp agency. The motion design gives the brand a modern, human and professional image.

Deployed across Randstad France’s digital channels and used in internal communications, the film strengthened Randstad’s employer brand among the new generation of candidates.

Nexia method

How this kind of project is run.

Every project led by Nexia Studio follows the same production method, adapted to the deliverable at hand. We start with a rigorous brief phase, generally structured by ZIA, our AI creative project lead who formalises expectations, constraints, budget and timeline. This step determines the success of the entire project.

Then comes exploration : this is where generative AI shows its real value. Our art directors use Midjourney, Flux, Seedance, Kling and Runway to produce dozens of visual tracks in a few hours, where a traditional process would be limited to three or four explored directions. The exploration volume helps eliminate false good ideas quickly and concentrate creative energy on directions worth pursuing.

The human art direction phase then takes over. Selection, refinement, arbitration, typography, composition : this is where taste makes the difference. AI explores, the art director decides. Without this human step, the result would be indistinguishable from any other AI agency.

Finally, production : development, animation, compositing, post-production, asset preparation. This is the longest, most technical phase. Depending on the project nature, it can mobilise the Web, Motion or Graphic discipline, sometimes all three. The most frequently mobilised services include art direction, AI production, brand film, visual identity, WebGL 3D and virtual humans.
