Catherine Toussaint — A website that reflects a therapist's practice
Simple navigation, trust-inspiring design, integrated booking. +40% contact requests via the website.
Catherine Toussaint, therapist, was looking for a website that inspires trust from the first second. Her potential patients often arrive at a vulnerable moment — the site needs to welcome them, not overwhelm them.
The requirements were clear: simple navigation, integrated booking, local SEO to be found in her area. And a design that conveys the human warmth of a practice, not the coldness of a generic template.
Our art director defined a warm, calming palette that evokes tranquillity without falling into clinical pastel. Typefaces were chosen with precision: Cormorant for headings — an elegant serif that conveys gentle authority — and Jost for body text — a humanist sans-serif, legible at all sizes.
The technical architecture was built for conversion: contact form visible without scrolling on mobile, direct call button in a sticky footer, subtle micro-interactions that guide the eye towards action. Every page follows a strict information hierarchy.
Schema.org was deployed with care — LocalBusiness, MedicalBusiness, structured data for hours and address. ZIA identified local search intents and structured the content to answer the questions patients ask on Google directly.
Site live at catherinetoussaint.fr. +40% contact requests via the website compared to the previous platform. Local SEO is optimised — the practice appears in Google's local pack for targeted queries.
The site loads in under 2 seconds on mobile. Patients report a calming browsing experience, consistent with the therapeutic support offered. The design has become a differentiator — no two therapist websites look alike when Nexia is involved.
How this kind of project is run.
Every project led by Nexia Studio follows the same production method, adapted to the deliverable at hand. We start with a rigorous brief phase, generally structured by ZIA, our AI creative project lead who formalises expectations, constraints, budget and timeline. This step determines the success of the entire project.
Then comes exploration : this is where generative AI shows its real value. Our art directors use Midjourney, Flux, Seedance, Kling and Runway to produce dozens of visual tracks in a few hours, where a traditional process would be limited to three or four explored directions. The exploration volume helps eliminate false good ideas quickly and concentrate creative energy on directions worth pursuing.
The human art direction phase then takes over. Selection, refinement, arbitration, typography, composition : this is where taste makes the difference. AI explores, the art director decides. Without this human step, the result would be indistinguishable from any other AI agency.
Finally, production : development, animation, compositing, post-production, asset preparation. This is the longest, most technical phase. Depending on the project nature, it can mobilise the Web, Motion or Graphic discipline, sometimes all three. The most frequently mobilised services include art direction, AI production, brand film, visual identity, WebGL 3D and virtual humans.
Nexia Studio is a distributed team based in Paris, Nice, Aix-en-Provence and Sophia Antipolis. This setup lets us assemble the right talent for each project without heavy structure.
