Crédit Agricole COMSTORE | Banking motion design

Motion design film for COMSTORE, the Crédit Agricole group's communication resources platform. Clarifying the internal offering with visual elegance.

The brief

COMSTORE is the Crédit Agricole group's communication resources platform — the world's largest cooperative bank. With 39 regional banks and thousands of branches, Crédit Agricole needs a centralised tool that provides agencies with approved communication materials: visuals, videos, templates, brand guidelines.

The brief: produce a motion design film presenting COMSTORE clearly and engagingly to the group's 75,000 employees. The film had to show the platform's value — time savings, brand consistency, agency autonomy — without technical jargon.

L’approche Nexia

Our art director designed an art direction within Crédit Agricole's visual codes — institutional green, digital blue, airy white — whilst bringing a graphic modernity that sets the film apart from standard internal materials.

The film is structured as a narrative demonstration: we follow the journey of a branch manager discovering COMSTORE, accessing resources, customising materials and deploying them locally. Each step is illustrated in motion design with transitions showing the platform interface in action.

The animations rely on a system of animated icons and pictograms that make abstract benefits concrete: a clock speeding up (time savings), elements aligning (consistency), agencies lighting up on a map (deployment).

The result

A film deployed across all regional banks at the launch of COMSTORE. The motion design format enabled faster platform adoption — employees understand the added value in two minutes.

Crédit Agricole's communications department used the film as a reference for future internal communications, validating the effectiveness of motion design for digital tool onboarding.

Nexia method

How this kind of project is run.

Every project led by Nexia Studio follows the same production method, adapted to the deliverable at hand. We start with a rigorous brief phase, generally structured by ZIA, our AI creative project lead who formalises expectations, constraints, budget and timeline. This step determines the success of the entire project.

Then comes exploration : this is where generative AI shows its real value. Our art directors use Midjourney, Flux, Seedance, Kling and Runway to produce dozens of visual tracks in a few hours, where a traditional process would be limited to three or four explored directions. The exploration volume helps eliminate false good ideas quickly and concentrate creative energy on directions worth pursuing.

The human art direction phase then takes over. Selection, refinement, arbitration, typography, composition : this is where taste makes the difference. AI explores, the art director decides. Without this human step, the result would be indistinguishable from any other AI agency.

Finally, production : development, animation, compositing, post-production, asset preparation. This is the longest, most technical phase. Depending on the project nature, it can mobilise the Web, Motion or Graphic discipline, sometimes all three. The most frequently mobilised services include art direction, AI production, brand film, visual identity, WebGL 3D and virtual humans.

Nexia Studio is a distributed team based in Paris, Nice, Aix-en-Provence and Sophia Antipolis. This setup lets us assemble the right talent for each project without heavy structure.
