W3T | Tomorrow's Web3 experience

WebGL, Three.js, spatial navigation. Proof that Web3 can be beautiful, intuitive and cinematic.

The brief

W3T is an immersive web experience project exploring blockchain and Web3 interfaces. The goal: prove that Web3 can be beautiful, intuitive and cinematic — far from the utilitarian dashboards and raw interfaces dominating the ecosystem.

The technical challenge: maintain 60 fps fluidity on complex 3D animations whilst ensuring intuitive navigation, even for users unfamiliar with Web3.

W3T — visual
Nexia's approach

The Nexia team developed the experience in WebGL with Three.js. Each interaction is designed as a visual micro-event: hover, click, scroll — everything triggers a fluid 3D response. The dark interface design with neon accents creates an immediately identifiable universe.

Real-time 3D animations rely on a rigorous optimisation pipeline: instanced meshes for repetitive elements, dynamic LOD, custom shaders for light effects. The result: a visually rich experience running at 60 fps on mobile.

Our art director set the direction: dark palette, technical typography, vivid colour accents guiding the eye. Spatial navigation replaces traditional scrolling — the user moves through a three-dimensional space instead of scrolling a page. ZIA structured the experience architecture upstream, defining user journeys and key interaction points.

W3T — visual
The result

An interactive experience demonstrating that performance and aesthetics are not incompatible in Web3. The project proves that an ecosystem known for austere interfaces can produce experiences on a par with the best of the creative web.

W3T is a portfolio piece positioning Nexia in the field of advanced WebGL development and immersive interface design — a territory where very few creative studios operate at this level of visual ambition.

Nexia method

How this kind of project is run.

Every project led by Nexia Studio follows the same production method, adapted to the deliverable at hand. We start with a rigorous brief phase, generally structured by ZIA, our AI creative project lead who formalises expectations, constraints, budget and timeline. This step determines the success of the entire project.

Then comes exploration : this is where generative AI shows its real value. Our art directors use Midjourney, Flux, Seedance, Kling and Runway to produce dozens of visual tracks in a few hours, where a traditional process would be limited to three or four explored directions. The exploration volume helps eliminate false good ideas quickly and concentrate creative energy on directions worth pursuing.

The human art direction phase then takes over. Selection, refinement, arbitration, typography, composition : this is where taste makes the difference. AI explores, the art director decides. Without this human step, the result would be indistinguishable from any other AI agency.

Finally, production : development, animation, compositing, post-production, asset preparation. This is the longest, most technical phase. Depending on the project nature, it can mobilise the Web, Motion or Graphic discipline, sometimes all three. The most frequently mobilised services include art direction, AI production, brand film, visual identity, WebGL 3D and virtual humans.

Nexia Studio is a distributed team based in Paris, Nice, Aix-en-Provence and Sophia Antipolis. This setup lets us assemble the right talent for each project without heavy structure.
